In the same spirit, we expect you to accept our feedback and take it in a positive manner for your future interviews. Expectations from an interview candidate for a senior role: 1. When a commitment to attend an interview is given, it should be met or professionally re-scheduling must be sought. Reason for a negative score for you during interview: You were sent out an Interview Call letter on July 17th and you confirmed to attend the interview through email on July 18th for the interview scheduled on July 20th. However, it was a no show from you and we regard no shows without any prior communication as poor approach and automatically close the applications of such candidates. 2. Pro-active reach out and communication with integrity in communication content. Reason for a negative score for you during interview: You proceeded to request for interview directly with our Director through linkedin, which is a pro-active attempt and we in response gave you another opportunity to attend the interview. But, you proceeded to complain to our director that HR was not responding while you were very keen on the role. No such communication records have been found from you upon our internal investigation. You did not inform the Director that it was a no show from you on July 20th and your application was closed. Shows lack of integrity. 3. We expect candidates who attend the interview to come prepared about the technical content and about the Company (details are available on our website). Reason for a negative score for you during interview: You came under prepared for the interview. You had not gone through the JD and requested the directors to repeat the Job Role. This role required end to end accounting knowledge including compliance, financial statements preparation and reporting. While your resume claims knowledge of all, you were unable to answer basic questions and communicated during the interview that you worked with other teams on the same while coordinating in your role. Your resume did not show your experience correctly. Further, expecting the Directors to explain about the Company and giving excuses that you didnt have any time to look into the website when first call letter was sent on July 17th and you yourself had reached out our Director on linkedin seeking interview time. This again shows poorly in sense of preparedness of a candidate who has applied for Deputy Manager - Accounts position. We understand that you felt the questions about basic details of the company were handled impatiently. Our intention was not to diminish the importance of your queries, but rather to emphasize the value we place on preparation. In our view, researching the company before the interview is crucial as it demonstrates a proactive approach and genuine interest in the role. While we acknowledge that time constraints can be challenging, the feedback about preparation was meant to be constructive and to reflect our commitment to ensuring a mutually beneficial fit for both parties. Our goal was to provide candid feedback to help you in future interviews and to be respectful of the effort you put into attending. We had followed up the interview within hours and gave you the feedback on why we are unable to shortlist you for this role.
