The challenge with this role is that it is being managed by an experienced managers who have no concern for the teams well-being. You are expected to take all the dump from the manager with unrealistic expectations immensely impacting your work life. Balance employees are expected to work almost 24/7 by the managers. The managers expectation is only to pass on the message from higher leaders to front and employees acting as a postman with no vision goals or concern towards employees in the company culture. The criteria for promotion here is unfortunately the number of excel sheets you development maintain rather over the outcomes that you have delivered which impacts the companies growth. This role is quite hectic as you are expected to not only manage the role of CSM, but also that offer technical support, implementation, Consultant, product specialist, SDR and sales and many more leading to extreme level of exhaustion and health issues as the workload expected to manage as four times night of a normal CSM in other other Organization and you end up working day and night day and night to fulfil your managers, unrealistic expectations. Also as a CSM, the company doesn’t allow you to travel to client officers rather expected for you to maintain exceptional relationship by talking to client or 14 inch screen all the time as you expect which is not ideal for a CSM. I really love the people around me in the office, since average age of all the employees in R&F would be just 3-4 years more than me. This allow me to talk to everyone closely and get the things done in the right time.
