They are least concerned about their employee's hard-earned money. You feel like you have worked for free. Communication is terrible between management. There is nothing i can actually think of that is good in spicejet. There is zero job security. First company will hire you with open arms. And then kick you out of the company with in one shot. Company policies are so bad it is so inhuman.

I like nothing about Spicejet. Neither the work culture nor the management. People like base managers don't know what their work is instead they try to ruin the moral of the crew right before they go for the flight. Per flight briefings are supposed to to make sure to get all the crew together make and team go work as a steam and come back as a team. But here in spicejet work culture people have different state of minds. The management runs away from work. There is no co ordination between different departments. My work life at Spicejet was good only because of the positive state of mind i carried to the work. Otherwise the base teams will not leave a chance to treat you like one school going kid. The behaviour the tone of talking the attitude. Zero !!

The work environment is very friendly. The crew and the base officials understand each other situations and help out in anytime when a crew needs help from them. This is the best thing i like about in spicejet.

Dislikes

The aircraft conditions, the complaints regarding small things which are not in crew hands but we still get the cautions or warning letters, the PA system in salary is in customers hands. We cant do anything about it.

The work pressure is relatively low compared to other airlines I have worked with. However Spicejet currently is focusing on getting the Skytrax award for which the pressure is high.

There are times when Spicejet may even overlook Safety to get what they want and find loopholes in the system to make things work in their favour as much as possible
