Politics specially in Salt Lake Branch. Area Manager Zahid Rafique is abusive. Franchise owners are misguided by SOTC Management hence they treat employees badly. If you are a Franchisee staff expect salary on 15th and sometimes u will get on 20th (if they give cheque). They want sales people. Dont give a damn about service and youwill end up in consumer Forum. Very risky if you have existing clients. SOTC has worst service when it comes to FIT. Need to work on Sundays in the name of Holiday Bazar. You need to lie and sell. The more you lie here the higher you go. To be honest men lies with mouth and Ladies here lies with manager to get promotion. Worst culture....Read More

New Job Anxiety?

Hey all I recently got an offer from a company as it offered me a 60-70 % hike over my current company which was about to secure a job. I am having 3 years of experience in SAP BW domain and mostly and in this I have worked for 1.6 years in BW support and that too in night shifts where there is not much work. I started preparing interviews and cleared them and now got an offer and I put my notice and my last working day was next week. Now coming to the main part even though I'm good about most part having less real time experience and exposure is freaking me out and what will be the new company expectations and I decided to work hard to learn all the details it's just the hands on I'm not sure. With in mean time I'll be preparing in that company I mean once I join should I need to tell my lead or manager that this is at where am I and should I just bluff them as i know everything. Any suggestions please...the joining date is around the corner which gives me more anxiety

South Region Head is a puppet of one of the Sr. GM and no other managers have power. This sr.gm doesn't have and knowledge related to ticketing or visas. No over time pay, have work on Sat/Sun most of the time without extra pay. Appraisal is average, that too decided by sr.gm only.. Though people say sotc/thomas cook do not pay incentives, mine is pending from 1 year now that I am out of Org. it will not be paid. For one's to get incentive individual have to handle multiple accounts, basically person should forget about his personal life.
