Work wise there will be a decent learning curve, Fast paced developments and provides good ownership. There are required processes and tools in place which makes work easy. Tech wise you will work on good challenging tasks, there is decent amount legacy code/service but getting upgraded to new versions. Tech Stack is good and as permarket standards. I found the product team little lame, not much innovation they just copy paste other E-commerce companies ideas. You will not find anything on Snapdeal only feature, It's usually been launched by many other players and product just copies that idea with little to no change....Read More

Company policy is not very employee friendly rather founder centric, Recently they tried to force employees for RTO which resulted in many voluntarily resignations. Then they paused RTO. Compensation is on the lower side in comparison to other e-commerce or similar product company. Really they needs to work on its promotions, they are doing a lot of things in right direction but it's not highlighted through any media which makes customers feel like Snapdeal is dead and no longer in game....Read More

- Compensation is decent if you are coming a small firm

Work-life balance - Good

Dislikes

- work life balance is not good - production issues over weekend - expectation of active response over weekend - No proper mentorship - irrational and sudden decision by management

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
