Salary and perks are below par. Growth for individuals after 9-10 years of experience is completely owned by themselves, manager has no role in one's growth. One's assigned with products irrespective of technology expertise of the individual. Most products are owned by German and French teams, only small migrations and tasks are assigned to teams in india. Innovation is a distant term as most people have gotten into a comfort zone and they hardly think beyond their day to day activities. Since most managers or leaders are from service background, you will experience a political game played in every aspect, may it be product development or your personal growth.
