So let me start with the recruitment process, One of the recruitment agency approached me for job opening. Profile was interesting so I thought I should apply for it. After applying to the job position i went through few rounds of interviews with senior level people. Finally I got call from the organisation for final round. Office location on google was showing near to Kalyani nagar pune but actual location of the office was at Amanora Chambers near amanora mall. Before joining I had asked multiple questions to HR ( HR round was conducted by the Operations head) He said he also handles HR activities. Few of my questions were 1. Do you have Saturdays off here His answer :- Yes alternate Saturdays are off Reality:- All the Saturdays are working with half day on every Saturday. 2. Do you have Work from home policy? His Answer:- Yes we have work from home policy. You can work from home anytime you want. There are no restrictions on Working from Home. Reality:- After joining he said you need to come to office for first month so that you will understand the process. It was quite ok for me as well but after a month while applying for WFH they gave me n number of reasons not to work from home. 3. Will you give me a laptop or do I need to work on PC? His Answer :- Yes Laptop will be provided on the date of Joining Reality:- after joining I was asked to work on pc that too outdated. 4. What is the date of salary? His answer :- normally 1st or 2nd day of every month. Reality:- You will get your salary around 4th or 5th day of every month I would like to highlight here that so many commitments got failed. Few more things I would like to highlight 1. No appreciation from any of your team member of senior management despite of doing good job 2. When I was working with them no HR department was in place. 3. As per company policy you will get full and final settlement within 45 days after relieving but I am still waiting to get my full and final amount after waiting for more that 75 days. 4. There was no mediclaim insurance policy given by company despite of having physical work on ships. 5. Office environment was very stressful. 6. Average employee duration : 6 months 7. No work life balance and no policies in place 8. You will get salary slip in hard copy. There are so many things i faced during my tenure here. I would not say dont work here in this organisation. But for me what have I learned here was never ever join any startup organisation those who have not any policies and structure in place.
