It was great until recently all the focus is on generating money and no innovation is happening. It just lost it's unique work culture and now its same as any other organisation.

Work life is great at Scaler. Can only dream of working under a manager and team like mine. Have enjoyed my time here, so far.

Best place to improve and learn new skills. You have many high performing candidates around you which pushes you to give your best and get any kind of help. You will actually know what does the word "Impact" mean.

Dislikes

Not a typical company where you expect to perform at an average rate and still be satisfied. Work life balance depends on how you treat your work and how good you are at being efficient.

Company culture is good. 4 time meals and snacks unlimited. But Depends on which department you are in. Customer Support is the worst with the manager and VP

The Manager Pankaj of Customer Support is very toxic and the VP does not care. No promotion. No job security. Minimal hike like 1000-1200 each year. Even bonus is not sure.

I joined Scaler in August 2021 as a Manager and now i am an AGM. I have about 8 yrs experience in edtech now and scaler by far has been the best organisation for me till date. Increment, culture, learnings, growth have been great.

They provide food and snacks throughout the day, which might be cool for some people, specially if they aren't able to manage it elsewhere. However, it is always advisable that if possible carry your own food.

The company culture is pathetic, people have been hired from BYJUs, and in townhalls etc the higher management would usually spread ill facts about BYJUs, which essentially is what they have been continuing in this company too. If you notice, none of them are from good backgrounds or almas, but still have been made AGM's and VP's etc, all merely because they were the first ones to join when the Company started. Managers are weird with timings, and would make sure you stay at office even on weekends post 9. Culture of the company is to ridicule people and make them feel small, and only celebrate a select few. For everything that you do, they would usually say Scaler gives a lot of money, which is again really reduntant. HR, i feel is the worst here, wherein they claim that there is a no exception policy, however, according to their wish, they ward some people wfh while some are called wfo, no said rules, neither policies. The same haywire system goes for attendance cycle as well. I clearly don't see a point of them building this company anyway, where the product price is so high, and the claims that they make for upskilling a candidate, i really don't feel that it is worth it....Read More
