The salary was good and the fact that nobody worked there, a laid-back kind of environment helped me have a good work-life balance.

I think at SAP, people are in a totally different mindset that they have reached heaven and now there is no need to work. They will be on calls for the whole day and talk jargon but when there is a need to do actual work they either won't do it or the regressive system won't allow them to do it. Even for a simple change of button, we had to go through approvals and nonsense. Creative liberty is missing for designers. Employees are not respected at all, you spend all your time and effort on one feature/topic, then suddenly they remove you from that topic and ask you to report to a junior who was much longer in the project so she is an expert (even with fewer years of experience). If we ask for KT, the people in the team from starting won't provide proper KT and take all exciting projects to themselves. Design something crappy and the manager will say WOW even if he knows nothing about RAG colors. The managers and people above him sitting in CA won't even think it important to reply to your emails or teams messages. Honestly, they made me feel useless and invisible.
