Employment in Samsung is like a pre indendence era, where Korean abuse Indians. Expectation is that you work, regardless of sickness, your family member struggling with life and death. One minute delay in intimate punch, calls for leave / pay deduction, even if you have spent 12 hours in office

14 - 16 hours work a day without exception. No personal life, so much so that my father was extremely critical and he was admitted in hospital for a week before he passed away. And I was made to work from the hospital. Employees are equated to slaves.

Work culture and working system and its process were so strong.

Dislikes

The worst salary standard compared to other OEMs. Even Samsung's vendor companies provide higher salaries than Samsung. Saturday working and 10 hours every day, which includes all breaks and working hours, leads to a bad work-life balance. I'm just giving a review for the Samsung Electronics Chennai plant, not for the Noida plant.

Job security is a very good positive point. Salary is satisfactory I would say. A lot of benefits are given to the employees like company transport, food, medical checkups, gym, consultation with dieticians, therapists etc. Employees get to work on business trips overseas.

Dislikes

I don't find the work satisfactory. Very limited tech. stack is involved and skill development is low. You usually work on the same Technology over and over. The increment and promotions are also a negative point. Increment in salary is very less and promotions take a lot of time. The upper management is also of old mindset like asking about every little things etc.

1.Salary & Promotions 2.No HR in this company instead they have ER team(Employee Relations) which are basically10th Passed Operators promoted to Engineer category. They do not know even ABCD of HR and their role, you can never expect their help on any occasions whether it is Mediclaim, Present Role, Promotion, Cafeteria Food, Harrassement etc.

Sometime store staff are more supportive then brand employee.

Wrost experience in the sales team daily they can give us worst targets and they can hire employee for mobile sale then they will tell you can sale mobile insurance, you can do mobile finance also clear costomer diligence and you can also apply bank credit card with tid up with samsung. I can work 7 year there is no promotions no increments i can weste my 7 year in the worst company.
