Less opportunity to interact with colleagues physically as this company is still following WFH. Work pressure is high some times.

It is a small company, but it has some strong goodwill in the industry. When I talk to my friends in other analytics companies, they assume that we are technically very good as we are working at Rudder.

Two positives of working here is: one, the culture: everyone is very professional and helping, we do not feel any hierarchy or senior-junior mentality second: a lot and lot of learning, I learnt all the big BI tools Tableau, Power BI, MS Power Query, Domo, Looker, Qlik in my first year whereas most of my friends in other companies could learn very less. One negative I can say is that as I joined during Covid times and I live in a different city, it has been work from home since last two years and I have not been able to meet any of my colleagues yet....Read More

- Work culture is really good - Though it's a startup, you will find that the professionalism is still maintained - Management was very cooperative especially during COVID times. - 2 years in this company is equivalent to 5 years in any MNC. A lot of exposure and learnings. - Flexible working hours (now wfh facility too)

You get to work on new technologies and get good exposure by working and learning with peers. Management regularly communicates with you regarding your performance and future goals. Office timings and leave policies are flexible. Overall good experience!

I started my career with Rudder Analytics as a Fresher and it helped me gain a lot of skills in data engineering in a short span of time. We were provided training in scripting, ETL tools, cloud services, APIs and we got good exposure in speaking directly with clients and understanding their business requirements. Work-life balance was an issue with a lot of challenging technology to learn in a short span and deliver with highest accuracy. However, as the whole team worked together, it was not so taxing.

Work Details

My work was around data extraction, transformation and loading from multiple different data sources, through data ETL pipelines, and building data warehouses. I worked with Talend, Google BigQuery, Python and Postgres DB.
