The company works on civil Aero engines which are some of the most complicated pieces of machinery. If you lucky to join in to a group with good support from the parent centre team and a hot ongoing project, this is the place for you. The work life balance is pretty good and the compensation is generally on par with peers.

Dislikes

In terms of IT systems such as vdi , they would themselvess admit they are not yet mature for a large company. This is also the case with some of the processs and utilization of plm. Other than that if you happen to get stuck in a group with minimal support from the parent team it can turn out to be a bit if a torrid experience

The work tends to oscillate between hectic to placid depending on which stage of the development cycle you are into. Also depends which particular role and group within engineering you are into

Brand name of the company which attracts the candidates. It’s not great like other companies. (Never join accounts receivable department)

Dislikes

Micro management and no support from seniors management, the environment is like the company is owned by Team Lead or Manager and a lot politics which will ruin the candidate mental state. Terminating employees on spot for being late by 2-3 minutes even.

Poor leadership, no growth, no learning, no development, UK ruling, they treat indians like donkey to dump unwanted operational processes, totally non value added, you may see people working in the company for a long time, that's because a few have criminal cases and a few with fake certificate have joined the company and happily settled and a few stay for brand name. Do not fall for the brand name. Typical British Raja ruling. I don't recommend this company. Mentally they will ruin you. HR and Leaders are British sl*ves, they won't hear your concern....Read More

Very low end work in India Center in some teams. Poor strategy ( In 2015, They have opened a design Center in Bangalore and sold it in 2020). They have reduced around 20k employees between 2017 to 2020 across globe. Still this company uses age old practices, couldn’t not afford to use latest digital tools due to lack of money.
