Everything. In a list:
1. Extreme red tape.
2. Culture of blaming others rather than owning up.
3. People work at cross purposes and least interested in doing good for the organisation. They only concentrate on keeping their jobs safe.
4. HR policies are the worst. You are never given all the items listed in your offer letter. Leaveis credited only once a year. For new joinees, it is terrible to have to wait a year for taking leave for weddings, funerals or any other life events.
5. Whenever, the plant has to shut down, leave is deducted from the employees, even though it is the plant's requirement to have shutdowns.
6. During separation, all the dues are not paid out immediately. You have to keep chasing people to get your dues. When you do, you find that all the payouts are calculated on basic pay only, and other allowances (which were part of your salary) are not paid.
7. Even small requirements have to go through a lengthy process of approvals (of 8 to 10 levels), and you find yourself spending more time getting approvals rather than actually doing work.
8. Weekly appraisals by your boss are very unpleasant and unnecessary.
9. Canteen services are horrendous. Food has been found to contain foreign bodies, including glass, plastic, stones and insects.
10. No freedom to work at all....Read More
