Working at Rapipay Fintech Pvt Ltd has been quite an experience, but not one I would recommend. The company seems to lack real growth potential, with frequent layoffs creating an atmoshphere of uncertainity and fear. It's hard to feel motivated when you constantly worry about job security. The biggest issue, though, is the manager in the CICO department. Micromanagement seems to be their favourite pastime, leaving little room for creativity or independent thought. Instead of being a leader, they often come across as a comedian-though the jokes are never funny. Teasing team members feels like their main form of motivation, and it's disheartening to witness. If there were an award for the worst dressing sense in a professional setting, they would win hands down. It feels less like "casual Friday" and more like "ugly clothing day" every day! Their knowledge of the industry is alarmingly minimal; it's like they're operating in a time wrap, completely out of touch with current trends. Trying to discuss innovative ideas with them is like talking to a brick wall-if the wall had a habit of interrupting with poorly timed jokes. The atmosphere is so stifling that it often feels like we're working in a circus rather than a professional environment. There are also serious ethical concerns, as this manager has been involved in more than three POSH cases, all of which were mysteriously cleared off thanks to their impressive "Super A**-licking Powers". This ind of behavior not only creates a toxic environment but also undermines any semblamce of accountablity within the company. Then there's the nepotism; it's clear that connections, not talent, are what get you ahead here. Those who actually work hard and bring value often find themselves overlooked, while favorites are promoted for simply showing up. This not only demonstrates the team but also cultivates a culture where mediocrity thrives. It's also worth noting that the company has a habit of buying revews here and there, so this one might get deleted too. it's a shame, really, because genuine feedback is what can truly drive change. Hire and fire policy. On 2023 they did layoffs 4 times in a year and it continues in 2024 as well. Staff strength reduced by 70%. So no stable career. HR will not be in touch with you once you joined.

Too much involvement of Product and Business team in Tech. Tech Management does not have spine to confront his team/save his team from Layoff. Do the layoff of experienced people who are not closed to upper management. Too much politics.

1. Often layoffs in every months 2. No increments at the time of increment they give peanut’s, 3. The atmosphere in the office was pretty dismal. Instead of feeling motivated, all days felt draining and demoralizing. 4. Despite wanting to learn and grow, there wasn't much chance to do so. The company didn't invest in helping employees develop new skills, which left many feeling stuck in their roles. 5. There is abusive language in your interactions on chat as well as in front of your colleagues, particularly from one person in the CICO team. He consistently starts and ends conversations with derogatory language, using the word 'ch****ya,' regardless of whether the person is senior or junior. 6. He also talks behind the backs of senior team members. This person, who believes I am a Java Architect with 4 years of experience, mispronounces "debarred student” as “barded student” during his college days. Ironically, it's his first company, and he seems to think he knows everything about Java, when in reality, he struggles with basic concepts like variable declaration. 7. He believes his understanding of Java is comprehensive, dismissing anything else as irrelevant, when in fact, he only grasps about 2% of Java. Additionally, he micromanages all employees and takes on multiple roles within the team, from HR to finance to business analyst to CTO. 8. When you make any mistakes, he issues warnings, threatening to stop your salary. He's a coward who believes that if he makes any mistakes, his own salary will be halted 😂. 9. Despite his claims of being a Java architect, his own code never runs smoothly in production, it always breaks. Yet, he still insists that he is a natural-born Java developer, or rather, a Java architect. 10. Once you join the CICO team, you'll quickly become familiar with the rest of the things. Not doing good in terms of business, will shut down in a year or so. Layoffs happening from past one year.

Dislikes

No appraisal, food is bad, no other restaurants nearby, nothing in terms of perks, sometimes there is lots of work pressure, while other times there is no work for the entire tech teams. Everyday people are afraid for their jobs. Newly hired people get fired first in layoffs, as they have less dependency.
