I like its challenging job. It's essential Public utility service organization so you will get very good respect in the public. Feeling lucky to be a part of this Organization and enjoying my Service here. Overall internal atmosphere is very good. Every officer supports you if you are sincere in your job. No extra work load on almost all posts except some key posts.

Dislikes

It is very good in almost every concern. However its new building of Head Office was proposed some years ago and the work for it is still not done. So, If New Head office Building is constructed it will add more feathers in the working of PSPCL and also help its employees to feel more motivated.

HECTIC WORK, TOO LESS EMPLOYEES SO EXTRA BURDEN, TOO MUCH PRESSURE BY SENIORS LIKE AS BY XEN AND SDO, WORST THING IS THAT ON THEY WILL ASK ABOUT INFORMATION ON SAME DAY AND NEED TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE 03 PM SO THAT INFORMATION CAN REACH HEAD OFFICE PATIALA, DAILY TOO MUCH UNNECESSARY INFORMATION ASKINGS, EVERY SENIOR WILL DROP HIS/HER WORK ON JUNIOR AND AND JUNIOR WILL BE ONLY RESPONSIBILE. MOST IMOPORMANT HERE IS THA CHARGESHEETS. TOO MUCH CHARGESHEETS IN PSPCL, WHICH CAUSES PRESSURE AND SALARY CUTS. AND ONLY 3% ANNUAL INCREMENT WHICH EVEN DOES NOT BEAT INFLATION. ACCORDING TO PROMOTION SEATS NO NEW WORK IS GIVEN ALL CLERK JUNIOR AN SENIOR AND CA'S AND SUPERDENT ALL DO THE SAME WORK, MEANS WITH PROMOTION NO NEW SKILL IS GENERATED. TOO MUCH PRESSURE IS GIVEN ON NEW COMERS BEACUSE THEY DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT WORK AND NO TRAINING IS GIVEN IN FIRST 7-8 MONTHS AND SENIORS ALWAYS GIVE PRESSURE.
