There is hardly anything to write about positives for Puma Energy.
Dislikes
Poor employee engagement, no job security, no motivation, no proper support from management, irresponsible management.
Management are supporting employees during this tough time by providing WFH facility and salaries are coming on time and worth to be noted that nobody had been laid-off.

Career Growth and opportunities have been really good. This is my personal experience. I have been given good opportunities by Global and regional team based on my performance. I am really grateful to Puma Energy and some of its regional leaders in guiding me in my career. Compensation and Benefits are really good, and so is facilities which includes Transportation and Food provided by the company

Company culture is not good and this needs to improve. There is always a job security issue and a lot of people feel insecure. People have been let go for no reason. Also, Management in India needs to learn to improve and be open to feedback. It can’t be a case of being invincible. Sometimes it feels like leadership team in India iswaiting to find some one to pin the blame on for some issue, rather than fixing the problem. I have learnt a lot from people in Puma across different regions but unfortunately I don’t find any inspiration or motivation from leadership in India. You can’t speak out to people who feel they are always correct...Read More

The perfect blend of dynamic company culture with work life balance being the primary benefits.
While the company is extremely employee centric, provides several benefits such as - Travel, food, etc., alongwith annual bonus.
Collaborative teams along with a motivated leadership enhances one to thrive and excel.

Nothing to appreciate about company and it's management. Poor culture and poor management in my entire career.
Dislikes
Too much politics. Over favourism of management. Talent is not appreciated. Job security is pathetic. AVPs and VPs were fired without notice. Management is too weak. Too much HR control. Poor leadership. Promotion and revision of salary takes almost a year. After hike person is harrassed to leave. Highest level of attrition. No set processes. People sitting in Mumbai are blamed for people sitting in country of Africa. Unreasonably high demands. Unrealistic goals. Managers always seeking to pin you down for some or other mistake. Don't have a standard way of work. Overall a miserable place to work. It has spoiled my career....Read More

Salary is better compared to most companies
Dislikes
Salary is better than most companies but you can be fired within a blink of an eye
Work culture is too bad. You have to work extended hours almost every day.
Favouritism is on peak here. You can't give feedback about manager's favourite to the manager as it's as good as letting that person know about it.
Job security is one of the biggest concerns here. You'll be frequently threatened to be kicked out of the organisation. They even terminate employees of their work is done or for cost cutting reasons.
People come here for the salary package they are being offered but then get stuck in this never ending mess and find it really hard to get a new job as the package is already high than the market standards. You won't be able to justify your salary. It's a trap
Even though you get higher salary but you'll be expected to work for extended hours everyday and sometimes at weekends too.
Leave policy is the worst. We get 35 annual leaves in total but no Indian leaves or leaves granted by the company.
For every National holidays, your personal leaves will be deducted. For eg. Independence Day, Republic Day, etc.
You won't get leaves easily on the last week and the first week due to month end work. You'll get only on exceptional basis. If it's extremely important.
You can be asked to login even if you're on leave.
Your well planned leaves can be cancelled anytime. One of my friend had planned for an International trip for which his leaves were approved but at the last moment it was cancelled due to work load. That's how horrible the work culture is.
Mental stress is very common here and working extended hours will gradually start affecting your physical health.
Conclusion:
Salary the only good thing
Zero work life balance
You'll be left with no personal life
Terrible leave policy
You'll suffer with mental and physical health issues
Good thing is every person goes through the same so you can crib about the work life like every other place.
Don't fall for the attractive salary package. You're being pulled in a hell which will make it very difficult for you to get out of.
All the best...Read More

There is nothing to like about this Company
Dislikes
Reasons to Dislike the Role:
Office Politics: Promotions are heavily influenced by internal politics, rather than merit.
Favoritism: Employees who cater to their bosses often receive increments, while others are overlooked.
Poor Work-Life Balance: Employees are expected to work over 10 hours in the office and then continue working from home for another 4 to 5 hours.
Unjust Blame: Any work situation in African countries supported from Mumbai results in unjust blame placed solely on us.
False Promises: The company often dangles the prospect of future opportunities and bigger roles, only to deny them once projects are completed.
Job Insecurity: There is a constant threat of being fired for any reason, with superiors frequently using this as a form of intimidation....Read More

Management is pathetic and coz of that work culture is also pathetic. They speak alot about their speakup service. But if anyone speak up then they are thrown out from company. Any fine day company will decide that certain position is no longer required and they throw out employees. No skill development. People who wants to grow should not join as all departments are hiring over qualified people n there is no job satisfaction. Work life balance does not exist in this org....Read More
