1) No work life balance if you are not a part of senior management. 2) Do not expect any flexibility or even a slight concern to anyone’s issues unless you are a yes sir/mam person. 3) Management is corrupt, even if you complain about someone no action will be taken ever. They are all in the same boat. 4) Career growth is very limited and does not depend on your performance.

Having been part of PowerSchool for the past few years, I feel truly fortunate to be part of this family. The way our leadership address our questions, support growth, and help shape our career paths is outstanding. Recently, I came across some negative comments, and it surprised me to see how people could speak so poorly of others.We all experience both good and challenging days at work, but that doesn't mean we should criticise our workplace or leadership. From what I have read, it seems these comments may be rooted in personal issues with managers or senior leadership, which is disappointing to see. In my experience, PowerSchool is a fantastic place to work. Our managers and senior leadership understand our situations and genuinely support the team. We should value that and strive to maintain a respectful, positive workspace by respecting our leaders and each other. People must think carefully before posting such comments - no one is perfect. Professional services leadership team is making commendable efforts to ensure job security for all employees. However, it is crucial to address performance issue and under performing MANAGER should be transitioned out of the organisation to maintain the effectiveness and drive overall success.

Leadership provides complete transparency and making the work process smooth and productive. Below are some of my personal experiences working with PowerSchool: 1) My work is recognised and appreciated which pushed me to go an extra mile every time. 2) Managers and Leadership team takes quick positive action on any feedback shared by employees. 3) The processes are so well defined which makes work lot easier since everything is documented. PowerSchool India was great initially. But since a few months, it has become disappointing and stressful. Too much work and no life balance (Hopefully this will stop after we go private). They think this is a playground and anyone can come and play in Professional Services. Both husband and wife are now trying to run the show with wife not having any certification or skill set but is becoming part of project management. The deserving people are not even screened or looked at because of this biasness for the married couple (the 2 Associate Managers). There is a separate group of people who think they are very smart. I hope the upper management is realizing what they are doing by promoting wrong people....Read More
