Project Manager is worst. Work-life balance is zero. lot of politics. Worked in CALM project for 3 years. Project manager don't know how to manage the people.Actually their designation is Manager,but they don't have managing qualities.They don't know giving the value to resources.As much as possible management will try to put resources in pressure. Manager would expect the resource to work 24/7 in the office.No weekend and no holidays.we have to work in everyday. Dont expect comp-offs even u work in weekends. Even u r sick,we have to work.There is no chance to take leave.they wont have concern on team resources.u may be in any position u have to come office for work. Manger dont know how to manage the project,if resource is off.That is the reason manager is never agree to give the leave. I would say problem with Project Manager.If manager is not have capability to manage the people, sure team members will be affected because of manager inability. Personally i was suffered alot because of having worst manager. So i was requesting organization to appoint proper manager who having managing skills. Based on my personal experience, finally i can say one thing, if you can have work in Polaris at least for one year, sure you can work in any organization through out the world.
