Work Culture I was working majorly with multiple teams from different location, enjoyed working with them

Dislikes

Promotion depends from team to team, business and R&D team gets it faster compared to IT. Also depends on your manager's Skill Sometime internal teams arent that pleasant to work it, as usual some form internal gangs..( so called comfort zone)

As said, it depends on the manager a lot. So the Promotions and Appraisal were far and few. Work-Life Balance is good. Job security.

Dislikes

Some level of politics, ( but its okay, as i dont give a shit, as long as i am getting good money ) Some gets promotion left and right some doesnt, because of above reason. Certain groups doesnt have goodskill development plans. They wont promote you, but hire people from outside on higher packages, who will come to you to get the things done.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
