In my 16-year-long career in publishing, I have worked with various Indian and MNC publishing companies. So far, Pearson has been the best company I have worked with. It provides ample growth and skill-development opportunities. The work culture is amazing. HR is very strong and you get to learn a lot. A lot of engagement activities and off-site events are organised to break the monotony.

Dislikes

I believe there is some politics at top management level because of which attrition rate is quite high at that level. Also, I feel, a woman's path to senior management is longer than that of a man with same or even less skills and experience.

Very good teammates and siniors always a compettive mind which enhance our performance good. Trainning is simply excellent. As long as you are a performer every where you are secure, So Pearson is also a proffesional organization so you have to be a performer, but if you perform well, then pearson is a very rewarding and awarding company, I am one of the performar in Pearson and within one and half year I got the Branch Head position. Salary as per your negotitation you will get, Every year minimum 15% to 20 % hike on avereage appraisal, and for performer its going more then this hike. Every day is a learning skill, learning tool for me at Pearson, I leart alot from there. Pearson is a kind of organization where you can apply your own new tactice or technique in marketing. you can apply your own strategies to drive the operation, but you have to be the insside the parameters of the organization. work environment is too good, collegues are very helpfull, HR is also very good. Yes work life balancing is very good. Travel policy also very good they give advance with that you complete your tour and after that you can submitt the bill, its a good relief for we marketing people and so that I can able to be on tour up to 28 /30 days in out of station, and I could explore the market and even the interior place I can able to visit and I crack good deals....Read More

As far as my tenure (Duration) at Pearson I don,t have any bad experience in Pearson. So honestly cant say anything bad about the organization. Because the incentives, my reimbursements, Health insurance I got on time, As I work from different locations of eastern and north eastern part so I dont have any office neither I have any collegues , I had work by my own. So naturally I was not a victim of politics, and neither I had any kind of negative vibes from the employees, and the collegue who seats at corporate office in Banglore they are extremely cooperative....Read More
