Work life friendly and slow company (at least my division, but I hear the same across orgs. OCI is a little hectic but nowhere close to Amzn, Googl etc.) You can have a life and can continue learning since you get lot of time.
Can be top heavy. Non competent people across job families. Every other person gets hired as Director, Sr. Director or Principal. Since it doesn't let people go till you have committed a legal / compliance blunder, people stick here for decades. You stay long enough here and will be irrelevant in market.

Job security is there if you know your job. But if you are from India be prepared to be bashed by the Americans. Even if you give your best & take all the heavy lifting, if a small thing goes wrong, that too for no fault of yours, you would still be blamed without any second thought or investigation into the matter. Particularly there are a group of account managers whose only target is this - find fault & never try to investigate the matter, just put the blame on resource as soon as there are some feedback from the customer. However these type of people or customers are only 10%, there has been some great customers, very friendly supportive..& so many projects were successfully completed with good CSAT score, just because customer was very patient & had knowledgable resources at there end & most importantly priority was never to have American resources or accent but rather to get the most out of the training programs. Its a favour that they are doing by providing us job :) We need to provide our children with the best possible knowledge & above all a strong spine so that they do not have to go through the same situation when they grow up.

Performance evaluation, appraisal, & promotions are a very opaque process. Things take a lot of time & there’s little to no guarantee of anything coming through. Stocks are generally doing okay, so they’ve been leaning on that as a crutch to not increase base pay

1 - Only boot lickers with no attitude towards work are promoted. Too much politics. 2 - 6% salary hike, worst among all the organizations. 3 - Management is just for name and politics, even VP doesn't know how the increment is done and how much fund will be given to the specific team. These decisions are made at SVP level which is too bad. The leave policy.
Nothing is good. More powers to managers and less to hr's. Even if HR policy is to come office 2 days but due to managers ego you may come 5 days also. And even for leave or wfh you have to email managers and take approval. Mangers themselves dont come to office but expects you too come.
