I have recently completed 1 year at Omnicom. So Omnicom global solutions(OGS) is a Captive BPO structure & all the counter parts in UK or US are very nice and kind. They care for our growth and work life balance.

Dislikes

Locally in India OGS is changing the employee policies like Medical insurance, transport & other benefits within last 12 months. In short, there is a reduction in net benefit by change in policies. In my opinion it felt like a selling pitch for me when i on boarded and now this change has reduced my benefits.

Omnicom has the most toxic work culture I've ever experienced. The company is essentially run by the CFO, while the CEO has little to no authority. The level of hypocrisy here is staggering. For example, the finance team was tasked with monitoring my LinkedIn and WhatsApp statuses daily and reporting even minor actions, like attending a webinar, back to the CFO. It was constant micromanagement over the smallest details. The so-called women CEOs, who love to champion women’s rights online, were some of the worst offenders. They engaged in daily mental abuse and endless escalations. On top of that, the company is involved in shady dealings, often asking employees to forge documents or emails to cover their tracks. And if you refuse to participate in these unethical practices? You’re fired. If you're looking for a supportive, transparent, and ethical workplace, Omnicom is definitely not it. My experience with Omnicom was nothing short of a nightmare. I was pregnant and suffered a miscarriage, and instead of support, they decided to remove me from the job. To make matters worse, they even sent me a legal notice from their legal team. It was the most heartless and insensitive response I could have imagined during such a difficult time. There is truly nothing to like about Omnicom—it’s a complete trap. It’s like quicksand covered with algae: once you step in, it drags you deeper and deeper into the mess. The more you try to escape, the more stuck you become. Avoid it if you can.

Omnicom is involved in questionable practices, and I strongly advise caution. The company has a history of unethical transactions, including routing significant funds toward a well-known mobile brand (I’ll give you a hint: the name rhymes with Snapple). The HR leadership lacks professionalism, and the policies and committees seem tobe driven more by favoritism than by merit. Work and Skills: There is nothing to learn, very basic work. Mostly adaptation work is there no creativity, We have to just adapt the creatives in different sizes.
