When I joined, the notice period was two months in the offer letter. Suddenly they make us to sign a letter that we will not take any legal actions and obey whatever the company does and then they made it to three months. There's nothing the employee can do they keep on changing the rules as per their wish and we have to obey, it's like they'll hire you by saying something again they'll act as their wish do not trust them. Omnicom has the most toxic work culture I've ever experienced. The company is essentially run by the CFO, while the CEO has little to no authority. The level of hypocrisy here is staggering. For example, the finance team was tasked with monitoring my LinkedIn and WhatsApp statuses daily and reporting even minor actions, like attending a webinar, back to the CFO. It was constant micromanagement over the smallest details. The so-called women CEOs, who love to champion women’s rights online, were some of the worst offenders. They engaged in daily mental abuse and endless escalations. On top of that, the company is involved in shady dealings, often asking employees to forge documents or emails to cover their tracks. And if you refuse to participate in these unethical practices? You’re fired. If you're looking for a supportive, transparent, and ethical workplace, Omnicom is definitely not it. I had a very disappointing experience working at Omnicom. The company has no job security, and mass layoffs are common, with little to no warning. The higher management, especially the CEO and CFO, do not care about the employees. There is no transparency, and decisions seem to be made without thinking about the impact on people’s lives. One of the worst things is the toxic environment, especially the business CEOs. The CEO there openly abuses team members in front of others during meetings. This behavior is not just unprofessional but extremely disrespectful. It creates a culture of fear, and there’s no regard for an individual’s self-respect. The Company hired almost 1000+ individuals in the name of expansion....most of the hired talent had a stable career and wanted growth like everyone else. 6 months past the company and the top bosses were not able to get work from global agencies so they started laying off people.
