I have recently completed 1 year at Omnicom. So Omnicom global solutions(OGS) is a Captive BPO structure & all the counter parts in UK or US are very nice and kind. They care for our growth and work life balance.

Dislikes

Locally in India OGS is changing the employee policies like Medical insurance, transport & other benefits within last 12 months. In short, there is a reduction in net benefit by change in policies. In my opinion it felt like a selling pitch for me when i on boarded and now this change has reduced my benefits.

we can engage with all other employees there will be so much leisure time so that we can spend time at play area and cafeteria

because of no work job will be in threat we can loose job very easily without a prior notice

I strongly advise against working at Omnicom. I was abruptly laid off without any notice and coerced into signing a voluntary separation agreement. The company summoned me for a meeting at a time I wasn’t comfortable, and when I hesitated, I was threatened with legal action and court proceedings. The entire ordeal left me so intimidated that I had no choice but to relent. Omnicom has the most toxic work culture I've ever experienced. The company is essentially run by the CFO, while the CEO has little to no authority. The level of hypocrisy here is staggering. For example, the finance team was tasked with monitoring my LinkedIn and WhatsApp statuses daily and reporting even minor actions, like attending a webinar, back to the CFO. It was constant micromanagement over the smallest details. The so-called women CEOs, who love to champion women’s rights online, were some of the worst offenders. They engaged in daily mental abuse and endless escalations. On top of that, the company is involved in shady dealings, often asking employees to forge documents or emails to cover their tracks. I had a very disappointing experience working at Omnicom. The company has no job security, and mass layoffs are common, with little to no warning. The higher management, especially the CEO and CFO, do not care about the employees. There is no transparency, and decisions seem to be made without thinking about the impact on people’s lives. One of the worst things is the toxic environment, especially the business CEOs. The CEO there openly abuses team members in front of others during meetings. This behavior is not just unprofessional but extremely disrespectful. It creates a culture of fear, and there’s no regard for an individual’s self-respect. The company has a history of unethical transactions, including routing significant funds toward a well-known mobile brand (I’ll give you a hint: the name rhymes with Snapple).
