I like that every employee is trained very well in the concerned areas of work, it helps employees to be more confident about their job. Job security is excellent here at the Oberoi, Mumbai

Dislikes

Number of weekly offs is quite low (4 days a month), this creates imbalance in social and work life. It seems like you're always working Growth in the Hotel is slow paced, promotions happen very slow

Support is excellent from company... salary has been provided even in such tough times..and even though not being on shift because of lockdown

Being in Service sector from 1 and half years not getting to work in restaurant or ird instead making me work in Pastry shop , and I don't like working there because my ambition lies in working in restaurant

I have worked in this company for 3 years out of which 1 year and 6 months were really really pathetic as each and everyday i had to work more than 12-14 hrs. Working hours were still not a big deal for me being a fresher in the industry but it somewhere depends on your manager too if you work in an environment where the manager keeps on abusing day & night it becomes very disturbing and depressing at the same time but once my manager was changed after a year and half my work life balance got improved, i had lesser stress to learn more things in a better way and it actually helped me improvise with the customers every day....Read More
