Very Professional, well defined processes and excellent training programme. A dedicated mentor helps one transition through the initial probation phase and throughout ones career cycle in Novus, there are ample opportunities for one to develop and hone their skills and rise in the Firm. During lean phase, time is invested in constructive activities and competency development. One of the best places to work where everyone is treated respectfully and recognised for their contributions in both tangible and intangible ways. Management is easily approachable. The facility is very well maintained and provides a very niche environment to work. One thing is that they are extremely focussed and particular about the quality of work and discipline which at times becomes overwhelming but to build a world class culture where one thrives to work, some element of discipline is paramount and I have nothing against that. During my career at Novus, I have learnt a lot. I had to leave after the birth of my child and am currently not working. However, if I ever plan to resume my professional career, my first choice would be to reconnect with Novus. There are at least 5-6 colleagues whom I know have re-joined the Firm after long breaks and the Firm has welcomed them. Dislikes

The only thing I disliked was the 6 days working week though at times we were not required to work Saturdays. One was never expected to work long hours and the expectation was just to complete 8 productive honest hours each day. Yet, a two day weekend would have created a better personal/professional balance.

The work atmosphere is thoroughly professional. Non-Hierarchical in the true essence. There is a lot of scope for learning and enough space given to new joiners to learn and absorb in the system. Appraisal process is good - transparent and one has a lot to learn in all spheres in this Firm

The only thing I liked was that HR team and management people were frequently meeting with other resources.

Company strictly believes in hire and fire policy. There is no job security at all, every body live under constant threat that they might get the boot at any time. No salary appraisal for 3 consecutive years on account of false and unilateral assessment that the company is running in loss. Promotion is rare and higher posts are virtually out of reach for resources. Nomenclature of posts are such which are unknown in the industry, therefore of no use once leaving Novus. All the employees do the same (identical) work, but their remuneration differs big time. There is a huge difference in pay packages of the employees. Someone may be offered the double of you, and you may be asked/expected to work per his efficiency. You may be asked to leave (part ways) the organization as well, if your opinion at work contradict with that of a 'senior specialist' on a project, who is more than five years old at work, and is drawing double your salary. At the very first project, everyone is asked/expected (doc. review and story writing) to perform equally even the newly joined candidates. There are hardly any increments in salaries of the employees throughout their working period. Management is pathetic. Project management is even worse. Candidates are trained one time only before been given a live project to work on. There is lesser stress on live project trainings. It may be the case that you are sitting idle for six months, doing hell lot of other things, but not trained on the projects per the company's expectations. How could it be the case that at the time of training your performance is good, but you are not been able to perform on live projects? Improper management and politics at the senior level has reuined the organisation's working and functioning. Four of us were recruited after shortlisting so many and we all were of no use to them. Top management sitting in the United States of America (USA) is been fooled by the top management in India. This leads to firing/leaving of candidates in between six months to four year's time period and organization incur huge losses. It was a mixed experience both good and bad. The worst part was when I was asked to leave (part ways) without any reason of the same been told to me, and the letter I was asked to sign was a resignation letter. This itself was an evidence of politics.
