What do you hate the most about your workplace? I enjoy my job and my coworkers for the most part. The parts I don't like is the high expectations and the high stress level. I sometimes feel like my job needs to be done by 3 people, not just me. And the promotion criteria is also worst.

Being a Central Government Enterprise, having Navaratna status, highest producer of Iron ore in India it's enough to work and learn operation management, situation handling and many more to experience and expertise. Other than that beutiful colony, school, medical facilities, play ground, market, gym etc.

Dislikes

As ore is found in dense forest or hilly area so it's obvious that project work of NMDC is in far away from city site. Slight delay in promotion.

work culture, timing, annoying people around you, mostly are buttering the management for good appraisal and transfer, no transfer policy, for finance people it is hell... so much politics... there are 25% employee who are working and 75% employee buttering, convert the department in or chestra band, singing dancing, there is so much regionalism... after sometime you will become mad.... poor treatment by management and seniors... all are selected through campus selection or walk in interview... those candidates who are selected through written they all left the organization.... so much interruption but UNION.. no reputation of officers.. workmen company not officer company......Read More

Even getting very good name and every year excellent in appraisal, management not giving importance of my achievement. They give importance to Degree not Diploma. They shown confidence in giving higher responsibility but not in giving promotion.
