When I joined NEC India as a trainee, I already knew it was a top IT company in the industry. But, what made it my employer of choice was the recognition it gave. My skills were put to use by the managers to increase the company's productivity. Awards were given for whatever I achieved for the company.

I wanted to join another team because I found the work monotonous. But I was told that I will have to continue for some time.

Since performance and merit count here, there is no room for partiality or bias. The company culture values transparency in all processes like assessments, project-based assignments, promotion, and appraisal. My trust in the company has only grown since i joined in 2021.

While allocating the work, my manager never assigns the work to the team equally, which annoys me the most.

NEC India is a great experience for me. I am really happy to be part of an energetic team that appreciates hard work and initiative. Contributions did not go unnoticed. After a hard day, there are always moments of relaxation. Occasions like festivals and birthdays are celebrated with joy and fervor. Despite being goal-oriented, working here is like fun. Every day feels like a new beginning here.

At NEC India, one need not stress too much over commuting. In situations when coming to the office is not possible one can telecommute. With a strong technology backbone, NEC makes video conferencing, instant messaging, and cloud computing essential for telecommuting possible. I have been able to manage my personal work owing to this facility.

A better accessibility to the seniors would have increased the engagement of the employees.
