Nestaway helped me to overall growth, But when it came to covid-19, i had some family issue by that i had due for the house rent, which i was staying in Nestaway property, Because of the due, my Nestaway company holded my 2 month salary and i was completely broken with my Nestaway company. No extra help i got from nestaway, insted Nestaway holded my 2 month salary in this pandemic. Which was my lifes bad days. I was able to have a look at lot of royal properties in Bangalore and very nice societies. This I liked about Nestaway. Also the company office is nice and like a reputable multinational company.

Dislikes

Work life balance is zero. Career growth is zero. Salary is not fixed and you can have pay cut. Less opportunity to shift to better domain profiles inside company. Consumer reviews are a concern, lots of bad reviews from the users who are tenants living in the properties. Also issue ofextra charges are there which are levied on the tenants. However lot of these factors are not faced by all employees who are in good profile in the company and tenants who are living in high standard societies. The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

The below is subject to which co-founder your function roles into as most are great mentors and very good to work with. But then there are always exceptions to the same: a. Leadership hiring is a family affair. It's little to do with skill (especially managerial qualities) or experience but largely based on past relationships because of which majority leave as there is a lack of mentorship and more of politics combined with ulterior motives. b. The entire product and tech team has been revamped. The older folks who worked and understood the system, most importantly business is gone. Thereby creating massive knowledge gaps. b. The HR is very biased and does not think from employees uplift standpoint at all especially when it comes to actions. c. The designation and hierarchy within any vertical is a joke as it changes with every appraisal just to appease an employee.
