It fells great to have worked for NEC India for almost 1.8 years. Work life balance and parental leave policies are excellent. NEC India monitors each employees ongoing skill development and develops training programs accordingly. The firm gives you a lot of opportunities to work with different types of clients and different technical stacks as long as you keep your skill set up to date.

The managers are not good, and the management only takes the side of their super manager. If they don't trust your skills, they will not give you work even after you showcase your skills and will give you something that they are least interested in. My manager behaves like a teacher – you can't speak, you can only sit here. He has trust issues and is a micromanager. I work on a government project, and he is the project manager. The funniest part is that he doesn't have the technical skills but is still a project manager. The company doesn't provide a cab for the customer site. It's better not to get a job than to work here. They don't pay you for working from the customer site on Saturday and Sunday, and they don't allow compensation leave. When I asked for it, they said, "You don't even get paid for the day when you don't have work, so why ask for that?"...Read More

Work-life balance is good and my team mates are quite supportive. NEC India's Noida branch got a good cafeteria and an indoor games zone. Besides, the appraisals, are competitive with other service based companies.

I have been with NEC as a full stack developer for 6 years. I have learned a lot in these years from seniors. There are always new opportunities to learn and be a part of them. The culture is fantastic and extremley adaptable. It feels more like a community than a corporation at times.
