As I am in the technical support team, I require tools and I find the going easy here because of the use of the latest technologies. NEC India seems to be an innovative workplace as it promotes the usage of software, equipment, and technology that are emerging.

Everyone has an equal chance of being hired, regardless of their background. Because of its focus on diversity and inclusion, all applicants are treated equally. Since it welcomes employees from diverse backgrounds, the teams here are very lively.

There are very few paid leaves and they get lapsed at the end of the year.

Since I was new in the IT industry, the employee benefits helped me establish myself. Here, I was able to get a work-life balance so that like other youngsters I could enjoy myself.

My skills were upgraded before assigning a new project. I have also been given regular training sessions to upskill myself.

The training sessions I received were not designed properly. It was only when I took up the matter with the manager that the problem was resolved.

The strategy adopted by NECI while training is one of the most effective in the IT industry. When I joined as a trainee, I was made to observe my colleagues while they performed their duties. This made me realize the practical aspects of the job. Afterward, I was allowed to take on the duties.

Thr probation period at NEC India should have been a little shorter.

Company encourages staying up late in office. They hire for 9 hours work but on average you’re going to work more than 11 hours. To your surprise your lead and manager supports such culture.

The teams here are diverse and inclusive, which makes working very enjoyable for me. Since it believes in inclusivity, my views and opinions are considered seriously.
