Being a part of NatureNurture means being part of a movement for social change. The focus on providing affordable education underlines the organization's commitment to closing societal gaps. It's a privilege to contribute to such a noble cause. While not everyone may grasp the depth of this mission, those of us who are passionate about creating real change find solace in our impactful work here.
The thing I mentioned earlier is how people are often enthusiastic about making a change, but when the time comes, they tend to back off or withdraw.

It's disappointing that some people seem eager to make a difference in the educational system but ultimately withdraw or hesitate when given the opportunity to do so. Initially, they show up to our office, attend orientation and training, and seem excited about the prospect of revolutionizing education. However, they often end up apologizing for not continuing and we feel let down after investing time and resources in them....Read More

NatureNurture is not a suitable place for everyone, and we strongly advise individuals who envision a long-term career in education to consider applying. In the development sector, where the affordability of education is a significant challenge, individuals must push themselves to continuously acquire new skills and adapt to the evolving needs of India's diverse population. Moreover, it's important to acknowledge that fewer people are tasked with multiple responsibilities. While this may appear overwhelming or unattractive to some, those who possess a genuine passion for education view it as an opportunity to explore various career paths, such as training, development, planning, and design. It is worth noting that certain individuals may feel out of place if they expect a traditional 9-to-5 job, as NatureNurture fosters an environment for creative and passionate individuals who are willing to push boundaries and think outside the box....Read More

I must emphasize that this isn't an organization for everyone. Here, we embrace challenges, and only individuals who thrive on pushing their limits find true happiness. In the education sector, where conventional wisdom often prevails, we stand out by setting high-performance standards and unwavering accountability to children. Thismight be unfamiliar territory for many in the education sector, making this organization the right choice for those ready to back their words with action and truly serve our sole purpose....Read More
Culture and Work-life balance take on different meanings here. Our culture centers around equal opportunity, ensuring everyone is treated fairly, regardless of background or experience. We invest in upskilling each person to become a future leader, but we expect loyalty in return. When either of these two elements is missing, issues arise.

The only think you'll like here is the work itself, but all other things in this organisation will suck the motivation out of you to even continue! So even if you're passionate about education or making a difference, you won't be able to because of the culture and the environment.
There are so many things to list but the number one being the toxic culture. Your voice will not be heard here as the management gets quite offended if someone tries to give them feedback or even raise their concerns. You're made to keep a record of all the things you do and are supposed to do in a day showing zero trust in the employees. Employees are juggling with hundreds of tasks and when due to poor planning, the deadlines are not met, the employees are blamed for their poor time management skills, asked to fill their logbook one week in advance, give updates every evening before leaving, and made to feel they are incompetent and incapable. The senior management will always say yes to everything the director says and would never stand up for their team, even in the cases where the work gets delayed due to them only. They'll put the blame on the team to save themselves and would move on like nothing happened. Their is no such thing as HR department here. Instead, a relationship manager who knows 0 sense to talk to people and treat them. You may sometimes feel that you're in school made to work according to the whims and fancies of your principal says and not question anything. If you're ready to see past all of this and still thrive, then you can go ahead and join the organisation but I would never recommend this to a friend....Read More

Employer’s Response
As part of the core management team, let me say off the bat; We are NOT a place where everyone will be happy. Infact only 3 out of 10 people will be happy in our organisation. My research from across the world has showed that most people are happy in roles when they are not being challenged adequately and find their comfort zone or if they are excessively challenged to the point of burn out. While true for most sectors, this policy is not so uniformly applicable in the education sector. Everyone is a proclaimed expert in the education sector, everyone knows how to raise children. Unfortunately children are the most inder-represented voice in the entire sector. Therefore I hold my team to a very high bar of performance and being accountable to children. This is a practice that most people in this sector are not used to, therefore for them NatureNurture is the right place. This is a place where you need to put your money where your mouth is, and put in the work and be accountable to our only stakeholders- the children. Culture and work life balance mean very different things here. Culture for us is equity of opportunity, you will be treated fairly. Regardless of your background, experience, everyone has an equal opportunity to be future leader. We are vested in upskilling each person to become a future leader, but we need loyalty in return. When either of the two is missing, there is a problem. Many of the negative sentiments about NatureNurture testify that "we are not a place for everyone". When given a choice to keep either everyone moderately happy or few driven individuals very content. we choose the latter. We have made a careful choice with this decision, and you should be equally careful in making this decision about your career.

NatureNurture stood out for the genuine passion displayed by its senior team members. They exuded an unwavering enthusiasm for education, which was evident in every interaction and served as a constant source of inspiration. The guidance and mentorship provided by them went beyond just professional development, as they took a personal interest in my growth as an individual. They fostered an environment where I felt valued, respected, and encouraged to explore my full potential, making NN much more than just a workspace- it became my home away from home. The sense of belonging and camaraderie among colleagues created a supportive community that embraced diversity and nurtured collaboration. I was surrounded by like-minded individuals who shared a common passion for education and a collective drive to make a positive impact in the field. The synergy within the organization fueled an atmosphere of creativity, innovation, and constant learning. I wholeheartedly recommend this workplace to anyone embarking on their professional journey, whether it be their first, second, or even third job. The company's commitment to education and its genuine desire to empower individuals is unparalleled. However, it may not be suitable for everyone. The culture here is vibrant and collaborative. It's a place where we are all united by a common mission - to make a positive impact through education. The work culture here is not just about getting the job done; it's about doing it with a sense of purpose and shared dedication. What makes NatureNurture even more special is its dedication to education and social impact. I know that my work isn't just about aesthetics; it's about contributing to a cause that shapes the learning experiences of children. It's a sense of purpose that goes beyond typical design work. I get to do more than simply create here as a graphic designer; I get to be a part of a project that's changing the world. One thing that I liked the most about NatureNurture was the opportunities of learning. You will get an exposure of working with numerous diversified teams. One thing I can surely say is that you will get to learn the most critical life skills for which you pay thousands to a coaching centre.
Employees sometimes have to go extra mile and spend extra hours to meet the critical timelines. Not in particular a dislike for me, but definitely for those who don't want to get out of their comfort zone.

The only thing that I like about the company was the work area they were in. They wanted to work in creating a wholesome curriculum. Their approach to do it and their methods were crap and very narrow sighted though. They did not create an adaptable curriculum - they punch down on teachers and principals who buy their curriculum andcall them dumb while expecting them to model their school according to how they envision educational approaches to curriculum. They also did not create anything of their own as their entire curriculum, especially their techniques, videos, templates and patterns, hands-on learning practices are all copied from other places....Read More
Their curriculum is copied and is based on stolen ideas and approaches. The workspace is highly nepotistic, and by that I mean I walked in to the company with 7 years of experience in my field and they would not give me the industry standard hike (20-30%) while if you know the director personally or are related to her they will giveyou 1lac+ per month even if you walk in with zero experience and educational qualifications for the role. The director thinks she is the only person in the world who can create curriculum while she does not know anything about the demands of the domain. There is no professionalism or ethics in the workplace. They are selling copied and sub-par material to schools and have no regard for individual perspectives. The director can never be wrong is what she thinks while she says dumb things. She calls herself a psychologist and educationist while being biased towards employees, overworking her staff, disrespecting everyone, giving tasks and 'changing her mind' about it when the task is at 95% completion or completed and then she says as the director she has the right to make people rework and overwork. I can go on and on about how horrible this place is. I am legit waiting for someone to throw a copyright claim at them so that they know they cannot get away with their cheap tricks....Read More
