If you want to spend the last few years till retirement, then NPCI is the best place. Less work and full relaxation. Zero job satisfaction

Compensation is moderate, but growth is slow. Moderate work pressure. Managers do not value their team members and keep finding faults, thereby creating unnecessary pressure. Typical sarkari culture, less work and useless meetings most of the times. Sr Management team is pathetic and behave like CEOs and do no work at all. The role that is promised during the offer is changed immediately after joining. The existing skill set of the employees is not utilised properly. No clear vision of the management. So, cant say much about the work

Those who start their career with NPCI can sustain better since this is their first exposure but for experienced it is definitely not the place to be in.

Dislikes

Extremely burocratic in nature. They go by perception than merit. Even on leaves seniors donnot hesitate to call you, pull you up when you have been away on your time off, even after sending mails, you are expected to personally reach out to the senior's cabin saying "hey i emailed you just now.please have a look"

Disastrous HR management. 35 percentage variable pay in CTC, unnecessary inflating the CTC. FIXED is so low that employee will go into depression.
