Starting off with the cons, Narayana Group is outsourcing counsellors, so it doesn't really feel like you belong with Narayana because you don't. You have to travel everyday to different locations as a students counsellor which beats the whole purpose of counselling. As you won't be able to build a solid rapport for the students or staff to consider your work as meaningful. Team Disha (Students counselling team) is made fun of by the students and the work is trivialized due to that reason. Benefits are almost non existent, even the travel allowance is given late and sometimes you're expected to pay from your own pocket. They cater mostly to the employees who have been with them for over 2-3 years. But newly joined employees get no acknowledgement or respect. And the TLs don't value or acknowledge you at all. They make it a point to show you the "hierarchy" rather than making you feel comfortable. Unfortunately there are no retention strategies to stop bleeding employees. Pros.
