The compensation and increments that MSL as an organisation offers is noticeably less as compared to its peers in the market. The real working experience largely depends on the practice, the manager and the HR Business Partner. My experience has been, unfortunately, terrible solely because of my manager, the practice head and owing to the fact the the local HR Business Partner turned a blind eye to my concerns over mental harassment and unfair treatment. I was unfairly treated by my practice head and I didn't get any recourse to my concerns despite having brought the attention of the HR towards the issue. My manager set me up slowly, and created a situation where I felt ostracized and made everyday work life intolerable, eventually leading to my resignation....Read More

MSL has been a traumatic experience. The VP of the company is a goon. 0 work life balance. The managers are incompetent. The planning team doesn’t know how to plan. Threats of termination for not working till late in night. I told them once in December that I want to leave on time since it’s Delhi and it gets pitch dark and I feel unsafe. The ASSOCIATE VP and VP told me that if you feel unsafe that’s your personal problem. The HR behaves as if she’s the head mistress. She is biased and unprofessional. She even distributed chocolates for free on the floor to all the employees and made all the employees rate Msl at the great place to work as 10/10 ( which is supposed to be a personal and individual thing ) mostly all Saturdays and Sundays were working. It is considered normal to getting insulted and bashed by the seniors in name of seniority as per the VP. The VP had to told me that she’s married to her work and it’s ideal for her to see everyone doing the same. Making personal comments is a normal thing. Bullying is a daily thing. The National Lead & Senior VP in question is a Prime example of this Dysfunctional leadership. Her approach is to slowly undermine you if you don't conform to her exacting standards of Sycophancy. If she doesn't likes you and you don't praise her or butter her then she will not Fire you. But, she will slowly and indirectly: - Roast you by making you work till late nights - Giving work load of 5 other Executives, Management Associates or even the Managers - Will make sure that you are not appreciated for your Hard-Work - Start excluding in all important conversations and will not let you keep your point in meetings - Giving you a bag full of workload and responsibilities and take away all your rights and leave you with zero authority over responsibilities. She is a Dinosaur who is in this company from almost a decade. The internal politics and toxicity is at a level that even the AVP, Group Heads and even Management Associates have to please her and do a ego massage to be in her good books. This Toxic work-culture of Sycophancy and manipulation is not Isolated; it infects every level of the organisation. The same behaviour is expected from AVP's, Group Heads and Managers. Ohh, and these Managers don't do anything relating to work. They are the First one to engage in short talks with Higher-ups about their team and executives reporting to them. They perpetuate this culture of Favoritism and Bullying. The entire organisation seems to be a breeding ground for this plague of poor management practices. Futhermore, the so called "Great Place to Work" accolades are a farce. The HR actively pressures employees to give positive reviews and even resorts to offering incentives like Chocolates to manipulate feedbacks. The HR team's performance metrics are skewed towards ensuring positive reviews rather than addressing genuine employee concern. They have perfected the art of creating conditions that drive employees to resign rather than face a formal termination or resignation.
