I had heard numerous commendations about this company before joining, but unfortunately, they appear to have been either exaggerated or applicable only to different areas in this company. The only limited discussions with the manager revolve around health. All throughout the time in the company, it became evident that she attempts to offset a lack of technical expertise with various other strategies, which becomes increasingly apparent to everyone in the team. Conversations with nearly all team members reveal a concerning reliance on a select few individuals, this dependency is particularly troubling for those seeking opportunities for growth within the organisation. There has been no substantial technical guidance provided by the manager, and it has come to light that she struggled to effectively mentor team members due to the severe lack of market research expertise. Feedback tends to be broad and lacks in heated expertise necessary for practical execution. While work hours are reasonable, the stress levels endured by new joinees to appease senior people in the team are a significant concern. It's now become the worst company ever:- -management has no regards how to speak with juniors -work life balance is hell, need to work 12-14 hrs every day -even on weekends/holiday management creates pressure to work - leaves won't be accepted very easily and even if they accept they might reject again bcoz of work pressure - there was a golden era before 2021 when mordor is like a haven but now things are getting hell - new tech lead join this year jan 2024, we thought initially he can make our life easier but instead he did opposite, he created new mess, he has no idea how to lead a team, mordor should spend more money to get a better tech lead, this is not the right way of cost cutting - now mordor afraid of loosing employees, so he increased notice period from 2 to 3 months - there is no buy out option too bcoz they know if buy out option exists then nobody stays - right now many of my team members started looking out for new jobs but bcoz of three month NP it's not easy - management is fully working as per dealine , that something I can understand, but treating us as labur instead of employees not good - they don't have proper design and plan , every 1-2 week they changed the architecture of the project and they want us to create best software ever, and bcoz of sudden change delay happn and management shouting, forcing us to do it on time, and now application carries lots of bug and nobody cares to fix it , bcoz every one saving their life, instead of job we r just doing formalities - appraisal sucks, after all the hardwork u did, they said budget issue or any other excuse they put on u. I could keep on going saying many things on why I haven’t taken a liking to the company when I used to work. But keeping it short- this company is literally a bunch of regional self-boasting people who thinks they are intellectual (being in a market research firm) unlike they haven’t stepped out of the company for real,setting up their niche right from the inception of the organisation cause nobody is gonna give a shout out to them in the other organisations including the manager!! Especially this guy called Karthik who’s my manager doesn’t even have a basic understanding of being empathetic towards the people who’s joined the office. Coming to the work I still wonder what a fantastic group of people who sells the information on (markets & business) doesn’t even know that they can jus adapt a better automation in order to generate leads without having to hire some educated graduates who has to do a (call centre job where you would be monitoring the mails & chat box all day) in the name of “BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE” ! No wonder why only the new people who possess actual knowledge & skills practically started to leave - if you could get the graph of the employee sector. Few questions to the CEO * Are your managers & team members being professional when it comes to the work or are they just portraying their seniority & jus expecting the work to be done without any real effort in the training sessions ? Do you even know that our colleague who’s wife of our manager actually behaves like she’s an old school teacher who tries to vent out her frustration about (whatever it is) on the peers as if she owns the company. I mean,I jus pity the people who are suffering under her. She’s clearly an over privileged person who haven’t really achieved anything except marrying the manager (he’s one more rural guy who’s jus feels he’s a torchbearer in his career who’s promoted to a manager) except the fact that he just didn’t leave the company. *Manager is not supposed to expect the work to be done by the employees overnight ! He might be good at work cause he’s doing that from the past 7 years man !! Why wouldn’t he be ? Lol Instead of being arrogant & acting like an over/achiever ask him to train people with patience added with some kindness. *{BDE position} is nothing but a BPO job where you gotta direct the leads to the internal team by idiotically remembering their names which is a pure joke for real ! I mean is this why you have been educated all your life expanding your diversity across multiple things. Dude, this is a practical experience of mine working in the company & I respect each and every person’s choice. But I jus want to let you know how it is going to be practically in office.So that you don’t get to face this by investing your valuable time. For god’s sake be welcoming to the new people who’s joined the company so that they could feel like an insider & start to work with their whole heart - An employee would be spending 10 hours in the company man that’s almost 80% of his time in his whole day.
