It is department for accounting and auditing under defense ministry and works like any other ministry & department under the control of the government.

Dislikes

Mostly spoiled by so called IDAS officers who join this cadre after not getting chance to be enrolled in IAS,IPS,IFS etc.. due to their low ranking. Department can be well managed with out this cadre. None of the facilities listed below are provided like in any other department, but transfers are effected to keep control over the good working efficient staff.
