Regarding the leave deductions during the lockdown, we understand that this is a point of concern. During the pandemic, our leave policy was tailored to assist those affected by COVID-19, adapting as necessary from the first wave through the third. We constantly updated our approach to align with evolving health guidelines and the immediate needs of our workforce. We aimed to balance fairness with the requirements of our operations, ensuring support where it was most needed. As for your concern regarding our WFH policy, it is imperative to understand that our operational modalities require our employees to be at the office. That said, we do offer work-from-home arrangements in unprecedented events/situations such as the Covid-19 crisis. Speaking of politics, we have a zero-tolerance policy. We strongly condemn discrimination in any form and firmly believe in equality and equity. Therefore, our appraisal and promotional policies are unbiased, and our employees are solely rewarded on the basis of their merits and initiatives. Furthermore, our appraisals are based on a comprehensive, performance review procedure that follows international standards. It incorporates a ranking system built on a substantial number of assessment parameters and tangible metrics, making it accurate, objective, and fair. On top of that, we have another level of evaluation wherein the managers at MGI follow a structured and well-defined process, which also includes a significant number of parameters to evaluate employee performance. This detailed protocol is implemented each year with absolute precision, and the multiple levels of review and feedback are specially designed to minimise bias and ensure transparency and fairness. As for the timings, we extend a flexible working model wherein our employees are free to choose a clock-in-time/work window at their convenience, thereby enabling them to complete the standard number of hours per day or week when it suits them best.
