Company is very good, but manger or not supporting to the lower employees. They hire resources on last movement and not providing proper handover and responsible. And think resource to perform as per the needful. HR also not supporting. Suggestion to manages - please hire resources on time and provide proper handover and training.

M&s culture are changed before 2year store manager, manager,there behaviour like max, India brand store.in today work load, commercial pressure, audit pressure, sales pressure, is very high, some time I did strech,some time night shifts, w/off also cancel mangement not providing leaves on time ,we couldn't balance our personal and professional life .now m&s working like a Indian outlet. salary ❤️ I request you not take my name i don't want to get point out and lose my job they even don't have female staff one has been got promoted they call her in morning 7 and leave her at 3 i m the only female staff who has handle fitting room 2 departments and closing replenishment and billing others and mine both customer and they force for sale although i have to manage these many things

We can learn many things about retail.

Dislikes

Incentive plan is not good. Managers are not supportive. There is no good salary hike. When we leave that company, they deduct lots of amt from our final settlement... Compare to H&M, H&M is good.
