I worked here for 4 years and the management is really supportive of teachers. The leadership and senior staff (SLs, TLs) spends time improving the quality of teachers and learning of students. The school sends teachers for Cambridge extension professional development. (Free but have to sign 6-month contract). Unlike many other schools, the management never indiscriminately blame teachers and often support them if parents are rude to teachers....Read More

The number of periods allotted to science subjects can be increased to accommodate lab works.

I had a good Work Life Balance. The school has very good content team and teachers need not prepare any assesements. I only had to take work home few times a year before exams.

Experience with different mind set people, which is not in the good way.

Everything, employees in some department doenst respect you(abusive) even after then took your help in their work.... which is not cool company policy, it works only on low level employees like us, it doesnt work on high level pay grade employees. If you are a good person, your life will stuck because of their company policy. only 10% increment even performed 300% in your role. Its not worth it. Notice period is 3 months....Read More

My number one reason for working for Manthan was the vision of my leaders - Ram sir and Shalini ma'am. They always put the children at the center of everything. I was always supported by my section heads and given ample opportunities to grow. Overall, I had a very good experience working for Manthan. It was a wonderful learning experience for me. 1.Food but many old teachers do not eat food in the school. 2.It's like permanent employment and they 'll never remove any employee.

Dislikes

1. The work life balance is terrible. 8 to 3 are the school hours. The teacher has to work for atleast extra 6 hours in a day to correct homeworks and tests and review them.(8+6= 14 hours and still they will say Your are not working) 2. The SL and TL system. Being MBA passouts, they are implementing 2 head system. The instructionsgiven by the SL and TL are different and it confuses the teachers and in many cases there is a rivalry between SL and TL which end up in pressurizing the employee and ultimately to leave. 3. Outdated SL's whose knowledge is very poor. 4. Too many strict rules. The new english teacher ran away in one week (luckily she didn't submit the certificates). 5. Politics at peaks.
