Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society is not a good place to work for anyone considering joining. They require a deposit of ₹20,000 as part of the selection and joining process. Once you're assigned to a branch, you realize the work environment is not worth it. Those hired as marketing assistants are essentially doing field marketing, and the company heavily penalizes employees for minor infractions, like being a minute late in sending reports. It seems their primary goal is to collect as much money as possible to become the largest deposit-taking institution in India, often at the expense of their employees.
