The work there and people were nice. You get to work on big project. At the same time to some it may seem hectic especially if you have site posting.

Dislikes

The rating system there on which the promotion and salary hike depends seemed completely random (Although I left before my first rating, but I have seen many people suffer due to it.) There's not much flexibility for freshers to choose their ICs or the field of work.

Bad work-life balance, low CTC, recognision for experience rather than expertise, slow growth. It is just surviving with its brand value (80 years legacy). It is not the same company which it was 15 years back (ESOPs for only less than 1% employees). It doesn't have American or European customer base hence revenues are less. Nowadays lot of competitors have come hence it tries to bid loss making projects thinking that government will help (LIC is the major stakeholder). It is trying to mould into a tech company. It is better to start career in established tech companies rather than choosing a brick & mortor turned tech company. No IITian or NITian will serve more than 2 years after joining (Few civil genius will shed there life for this firm). No Work from home policy.
