Even amidst the pandemic the company has been on a hiring spree, giving bonuses and salaries without any pay cuts. Stellar example of a well reputed MNC.

Dislikes

Apart from all the several benefits, one thing which lacks workwise is getting to work on a single geography, as our systems are hard coded. It had been great if there could be flexibility given in this area.

Lot of leaning opportunities. Helps in overall personality development, communicatiin skills.

Dislikes

High rate of attrition. Job insecurity on account of too much dependency on reporting manager for performance evaluation. Depending on Manager/team, neagtive politacal environment, absence of work life balance. Weak HR department. Suppresion/ Opperssion of low pay grade staff by high/ mid level management and no help from HR.

1. After working there just for an year I have become so good in attention to details. The managers were little brutal there even for little mistakes. It was tough that time but it has paid me off by making me almost perfect in whatever I do or I would rather say I understand the importance of quality work a lot more now. 2. Culture : I think if someone is able to work in Kpmg , he or she can any work anywhere after that. Management is brutal regarding work, quality, deadlines. During my stint with them , I was just working all the times- night, weekends , festivals etc. I cried often because of the pressure but I don’t regret working there as my hardwork and patience paid off well.

The place is toxic. Leaders are not helpful. Staff members are servants. No respect for anyone's personal life. Working on weekends and late nights is considered good - although it is a clear sign of bad planning by the so called leaders.

Work Details

Listening to the half baked plans of the director while doing the same task again from scratch over a weekend because the leaders were incompetent to plan things out effectively.
