The only disadantage of working in kvs on contractual basis is you will be removed/discharged as soon as permanent faculty joins the vacant post. It may be within a month or a year ,so their is no permanency or can say job security on contractual based vacancies ,for job security one has to wait for the permanent vacancies which comes after every 3 to 4 years and nothing is better then being permanent faculty in kvs. It pays well and yes it gives job security too when its permanent post....Read More
