Company management is excellent. KEC business is diversified and works in Transmission line, Sub-station, Railway electrification, smart infra, waste water management, mega solar project installation , civil engineering works (big building like Hospital, building for big companies, Metro rail projects etc. Employee got huge opportunity to learn in every sectors. I was working in Transmission line construction work and spent here 13 years . During these tenure I construct 6 EHV transmission line. Management is very good and are active listener.they always take care of employees benefits....Read More

(1) appraisal process is not clear, hard worker staff are not always favourable here. Getting promotion is like to win India-kargil war. (2) now nepotism culture is continuously growing here. Top senior executive (VP and above) nephews and their colleagues and family members got continuously promoted every year with very high salaryincrement like 30-50 % every year. While general deserving employees did not get their right value even if they give his full effort to do his assignments. (3) company did not take respond to old permanent employees as compared to new joiners. Like every year company recruit GET (Graduate engineer trainee) with campus from NIT or prestigious engineering college with very high salary package, as compared to company existing employees. but transmission line construction work is fully field duty and hard duties. So only 10-20 % new GET could sustain here rest of all escape from here to obtain better opportunity or to grab white collar jobs. Every year same phenomenon happens and due to this old employees also escape from here. Salary structure is different for GET and experience candidates....Read More

The work culture is very good. It feels good to work here. Every team is very supportive and the staff is also very supportive.

Here, once someone gets a rating, he will always get a good rating. Whether he works or not. You are doing a very good job. If your rating gets bad for the first time, then your rating will always remain bad. The chance of promotion is very less.I have not understood till date on what basis promotions are done here. No matter how good work you do, if your rating is bad in the beginning, then your rating will always be bad....Read More

Appraisal process too much slower. Salary given to below manager level employee is too less compared with task provided. Performance bonus is just for namesake.

Salaries are on time, perks and benefits are great, they have set up an entire learning platform which is really nice. It's just that we don't get time to learn something on that platform because we are working day n night.

Well I don't really know about the entire company but the site where I work is absolutely mentally exhausting. Work culture is very poor and all the employees feel stressed and burnt out. It's all because of the people who have taken up the leadership roles in the company. They treat employees as they own them, wanting them to work 24 X 7.
