Layoffs after introducing nee core value Humanity. They are firing employees immediately(within 30 minute we need to leave office after receiving call from HR) which is not good. They should be transparent and give few months before firing. They don’t analyse requirements before adopting new technology(Recently we have purchased Palantir Live stream licence but don’t analyse whether it will work for requirements or not). Bad leadership especially in the software validation department If you are high performer & you don't have the ability to sugar coat you would not be promoted; your promotion would be given to wives/chatukars/beautiful girls who are working in the same department. There is a typical pattern for promotion: go to onsite, come back and get promoted as senior lead enginner. If you have a working wife in the same department, she will resign from India, will join as an external employee in John Deere usa on spouse visa, will come back to India and would join the same department on promotion. The company has a great culture, professionalism is top notch. There's always so much happening to prioritize employee's holistic well being. You'll be able to maintain a great work life balance. The salary's are pretty competitive as per market standards.

Dislikes

Promotion cycles are extremely slow; You could be at a grade for 10+ years even after performing well. The norms for salary revisions during employee ratings keep changing every year. It is very easy to be lost in their hierarchy.

It has a very comfortable and rotten work environment, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Recent layoffs has exposed how mismanagement has rotten the decision making system and the cracks in the new CEOs abilities.

Very slow paced environment, no accountability on managers, slow growth, even well deserving candidates will get promotion after a minimum duration of 5 years in one level. GETs get preference for every opportunity even if they don't know anything.
