They believe that paying well entitles them to complete obedience and employeee retention, despite the toxic environment. 4. HR has no real role beyond hiring. Once recruitment is done, they disappear. 5. No escalaation matrix - if you have an issue with your Manager, you either tolerate it or quit. Any attempt to escalate will only make things worse for you. 6.
