Nepotism is all over the place.You know someone or is related to someone you have a great life.else you are shunted to far off places Cronyism is the Mantra.The more you prostrate the higher you go. No Vision or Modern outlook(a plain old govt bank masquerading as a new gen bank) The God complex of the top Management They think thelower tier employees are sub human and treat them with utter disrespect There are even separate canteens(good quality)for top management and (bad quality) for lower rung staff in their central office at Chennai.What do you expect from people who have classist attitude towards their own coworkers? NO EMPATHY FOR YOUR PERSONAL TRAGEDIES.I know people who have had heart attacks being asked to join and threatened with disciplinary action. HR department is filled with normal jack of all trades officers sitting and acting gods..No professional MBA HR qualified people in the department. Nothing to like, before joining i thought it will be my best decision but i regret.

Discrimination by top management on the basis of caste, sc/st cell is not listening. Not paid allowances for whistle blowing, top management is against the honest staff. Newly recruited officers are not given Leaves which they have even their sanctioned leave were cancelled and converted into Loss of Pay with retrospective effect. The bank ks extremely toxic, doesn’t want staff to grow, extreme level of politics in transfer and salary payments unlike other govt banks where they have transparency in salary payments. The bank is not following the IBA guidelines and suppressing the voice of employee who tries to expose their cunning behaviour. Newly joined POs are not left untouched from this blood boiling frustration, they are treated like Bonded Labours , I request if anyone who has just cleared IBPS to not even think of joining this pathetic bank in the rarest of their dreams, we are stuck here we don’t have any other way to have peace owning to our family responsibilities now. I hope the bank gets private asap so that at least some heed is paid to improve the pathetic condition of the management of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB)....Read More
