The schedule is relaxed and no work leaks over into hours outside the office. No one micro manages you. Personal responsibility is the norm. IBM offers amazing online courses in most core technologies that you have free access to. IBM also allows you to take a professional industry certification every quarter, however your manager will need to nominate you for it. These certifications are viable in the industry. In terms of amenities provided there is a free cab service provided only for women between 7pm to 7am (ie for night shifts). Other amenities depend on which campus you are placed in. As a fresher I would suggest that you don't gamble with your career. When you are a trainee there is no guarantee as to which role you will be asked to take up. As an electronic student I was not given the opportunity to learn anything like JAVA, C, SAP, etc. Most, if not all, electronic students get shunted to mainframe which is a very outdated system that usually runs for insurance companies. When they say developer it really doesn't mean you are creating any code. But we are in charge of ensuring that everything runs as it should. Code updates will be critical to the working of the system.

Pay is very less. Absolutely no satisfaction with the pay. No promotion is given unless you ask for it. Growth is very slow. No facilities.
