Great Work life balance. 40 hours a week is something that they adhere to and so that allows you to work for 9 hours for 4 days and 4 hours on the other day. Decent hike and appraisal if you consider that it's in Kolkata.

It might not be good for you if you are very ambitious.

Hyland’s over all culture is good. Benefits are good. Appraisal and salary can be good as well provided your manager likes you..

Kolkata team culture is horrible. Very unfortunate that people here are not professional at all. Bias leader showing favouritism to few individuals. In short a mess!

- Work life balance is good with flex timings and WFH options - Pursuing education is allowed here (sometimes company can bear the cost) - Leaves are a lot. Mostly enough to take a full month leave during the year

Dislikes

- Severe politics in management (you really have to be buttering your manager to be getting a a good raise or promotion, but this is almost everywhere) - New hires salaries are about 30% more than existing employees of the same abilities or skills (if you stick around for more than 4 years it will drain your growth rapidly after that. 4 years is the best time to move out) - Some managers get you to do personal work and consider that as a favor - No travel/over-seas opportunities (except for managers once a year conference) - False promises rule most of the managerial discussions (again this is common across the industry) - No product company culture (currently 80% of the employees are from CTS or other service company, they create policies which are totally like service companies)...Read More

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

Not much, very good company to work in.

It is great, I struggled a bit in the beginning as the application was new and I had to work in a different technology. But the team members stood by my side and whenever I had problem with something there was help available.
